I just read an article in our local paper where a woman scours the garage sales and buys old typewriters just for the keys. She takes the keys and makes them into charm bracelets. She has made a killing of them and is considering opening up her own boutique. Who knew that typerwriter keys could be jewlery?

I saw something like this on ebay. There was a bracelet on auction for $65 that had antique typewriter keys on them. I thought it was quite odd but someone bought it and I think it sold for $90.
