talk - Office Security Thieves in the office |

One thing that everyone should be aware of is that even though you work with people you "think" you know they can be very deceiving.I worked in an office once where things kept going missing from people's purses and desks and everyone thought that someone was slipping into the office unnoticed during the lunch hour. However, it was discovered after a while that it was actually an older woman in the office who was taking this stuff. She was caught one day red handed and then confessed to everything. From that day on I made sure that anything valuable like my purse or anything else was always in a locked drawer unless I was putting it in or taking it out. Even the President of Avon Canada had her wallet stolen right off her desk one day while she was at a meeting. If was found that it was an employee, who obviously became an ex-employee. So heads up everyone don't think that cause you work with them that they are any different than a stranger on the street. You don't really know who they are only ther personna they want to show you.

Ralph, funny and interesting quote! Yes I am a very CAUTIOUS person. I don't leave anything of value around anyone except close family and friends.

I don't put it past anyone. I usually lock up my purse or take it with me.
