We all have had at least one boss that really irriated us in one way or another. I thought this post could be fun for us all to vent about these bosses we once had and hopefully do not still work for! Heh.Mine would definitely be this one boss i had a couple years ago when I worked as a cook. I'm a vegetarian you see and yeah i had to cook meat all day long. I was fine with this. No problems... But what i had a problem with was the boss constantly making fun of me because I chose to not eat meat. He would often try to talk me into trying some dish that had meat in it. Every once a while, yeah okay, but not all the freaking time. It's not funny anymore! Also at one point when i was having a tough time at home and would show up at work pretty tired so i started to drink these energy drinks to keep myself alert. He saw me drink one once and scolded me about it. Okay that could of been fine, BUT... he shows up at work smelling like vodka.. so who is he to talk?! Sheesh, i know he generally meant well but.. sure am glad to not work for him anymore!

Wow, that was some story. My worst boss was a few years back when I had first got out of high school. I worked in th seafood department at Winn Dixie. My supervisor was a mother that used this to her advantage and she always like to work days. She didn't really helped out when she was present at work. She would make me work alot of weekends and nights. I took a week off to take a trip to Florida for spring break. I missed a Sunday night and on Sunday we clean out the display case. Do you when I returned that Friday night (one of our busiest nights) I had to clean out the display case. She left all the work for me to do when I returned from vacation. I soon quit after that incident.

I was a cashier at this local restaurant in my hometown. The manager at the restaurant was a pervert. He would make inappropriate comments and he try to get touch me when I went passed him. I eventually got tired on the harassment and quit the restaurant.

My worst boss was a woman who was a climber in the company. I did everything possible to try to please her but nothing worked. The last straw came when she called me in the office and told me that if I wanted to get ahead in the company I had to stop being friends with a certain person in the office. I told her that what I did on my breaks, lunches and after work had nothing to do with business. She said, well if you keep being friends with her you will never get ahead in this office and I will make sure of it. The strange thing was that my friend was also friends with the President of the company and is still in contact with her and she and I became like sisters and our friendship has lasted for 20 years. She lives in Montreal and I live in Toronto and we are in touch at least 2-3 times a week just like real sisters. So if I had listened to my boss I would have ruined a wonderful friendship just to get ahead. Oh and by the way I no longer work for that person and she was fired in the end.

I had a boss who definitely had his favorites in the office - the pretty ones. These gals got whatever they wanted and it was sickening. Someone complained to corporate about it and it wasn't too long before he ended up resigning. He was such a loser!

My worst boss was a guy I was office manager for. My daughter had to go into surgery for her tonsils and being a single mom I certainly wanted to be there. When I told him about it the first thing he said was "I hope you aren't planning to take time off to be at the hospital with her. She won't need you there till after work." I said I was hoping to be there but he just poopoohed it and said he didn't see that it was necessary. Then I gave him an idea that he sold to one of his clients and gave me a whole $100.00 for giving him the idea. Then about a month later he said "I'm sorry but business seems to be a little slow so I'm going to have to ask you to take a cut in salary. That's when I finally told him where he could shove his job.

The worst manager I ever had was when I worked in retail. Granted he was a nice guy but "leadership" was not his strong suit. He loved the title but he couldn't manage anything. I think he had hopes of becoming a district manager but the last time I heard he was let go from the company.

My worst boss was actually the President's son. He had no clue what he was doing but since his father was the "big" boss there wasn't much anyone could do about it. Well that was until he lost a very profitable account for the company. Let's just say Jr. is now on a permanent vacation.

The worst boss I ever had was a woman who needed to be in total control of everything and everybody. She acted like she was your friend and wanted you to confide in her, then only to stab you in the back just so she can get ahead. She was ruthless!
