Ad in your church bulletin

At our local church, we have a bulletin that is handed out after each service and on the back two pages are full of ads. I usually browse through them and will call upon someone if needed to give them some "support". I'm always one to help a fellow parishioner out.

It has been YEARS since i lat went to a church. Back then we definitely never got ads or anything.

Our church doesn't do any kind of ads but that's a good idea for someone to post an ad if people pick up a bulletin every week. I would probably support someone who attends my church as well above someone else.

The church I grew up in and my family still attends has "Campus Classifieds". You can advertise services, items for sale, anything. When I sold Mary Kay and Cookie Lee, I advertised a lot there. I got a few customers too. I wish more churches did that. Members want to help members.

Our church does that too. My brother in law is an insurance agent and he advertises on the back of our church bulletin and gets a lot of customers that way.

That's a great idea. I look at our church bulletin every week and see the ads but never thought about advertising. I am a scrapbook consultant and need all the exposure I can get.
