I wanted to branch out with a few brochures and a new look to my flyers. I was thinking of going to a company to get it done professionally but I think I might be able to do it myself. Has anyone done their own brochures before?

I have done homemade flyers and brochures before when I first started out. It is not that hard to do. If you have a print shop pro it will be even easier. If I am not mistaken there is a template that you can use. You can always take the one you created to kinkos or somewhere similar to get duplicates.

I think the success of flyers depends on what type of business you have. Where I live, Pizza restaurants seem to do very well, but in my own personal experience, computer repair does not do well. I had a company send out 80, 000 flyers in a combined packet with other advertisers, and received 1 call which really did not pan out in the end. I have tried some other flyer ventures in the past, but what is working for me right now is word of mouth and Craigslist.
